Philosophy

According to the State of Global Food Security and Nutrition published by the Food and Agriculture Organization in 2018, 821 million people worldwide, or one in nine of the world's population, are chronically undernourished. Eliminating hunger and undernutrition is one of the major social challenges, and improving agricultural productivity is an essential part of the solution.
In addition, according to the "World Food Supply and Demand Outlook for 2050" (2019) estimated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, global food demand will be 1.7 times greater in 2050 than in 2010 (5.817 billion tons), with a large increase in livestock products and grains. Against the backdrop of population growth and economic development, food demand in low-income countries is expected to increase 2.7 times and in middle-income countries 1.6 times.
Under the theme of "protecting and fostering life and nature," Kumiai Group aims to be a company that can contribute to global issues such as global food security and environmental preservation. We continue to challenge to solve common social issues for humankind through conducting R&D, manufacturing, and sales for agricultural chemicals that can use in the world's major crop-growing regions.
