Initiatives for Human Rights Due Diligence

  1. In FY2023, Kumiai Group conducted a compliance awareness survey of all employees to confirm their level of understanding of human rights issues and to ascertain the actual status of power harassment, sexual harassment, and other forms of harassment in the Kumiai Chemical Group. In addition, we have outsourced the Kumiai Chemical Group's internal reporting desk to a specialized company for proper operation.
  2. Under the Kumiai Chemical Group Basic Policy on Human Rights, we established the "Guidelines for Human Rights Due Diligence" and conducted a questionnaire survey of our main suppliers in FY2023 based on the Guidelines. As a result, we did not identify any human rights risks that could harm our supply chain, but we will continue to conduct human rights due diligence.
